Sarah is a beautiful young artist who moves to San Francisco to escape her guarded and repressed past. She finds herself living next to Dobie, a discredited actor and murderer, who is a master of disguise and seriously deranged. Slowly their two worlds start to connect as she begins creating strange, demon like creatures from clay, including the head of one of Dobies victims. As Dobie begins channeling his evil forces into Sarah, the demon seed is spawned.
